Medical Students from Uzbekistan Visited Our Midwifery Department
On May 10, 2025, medical students from Uzbekistan visiting our country visited the Midwifery Department of the Faculty of Health Sciences at Karabük University.
During the visit, our Midwifery Department Chair, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Reyhan Aydın Doğan, provided theoretical training to the students. During the training, fetal development and the birth process were demonstrated using virtual reality glasses. Additionally, practical training was provided to the students through birth practice on models.
The second part of the program was held on June 2, 2025, at the Midwifery Simulation Laboratory. In this practical training, students were given a first-hand experience of the vaginal birth process in a simulation environment. Research Assistants Begüm Can and Kübra Nur Kılıç actively supported the students throughout the training.
