Normal Birth and Postpartum Period Laboratory Applications were successfully conducted in two separate sessions on November 20 and 27 at the Midwifery Department Laboratory. The event was coordinated by Assist. Prof. Sebahat Hüseyinoğlu and conducted by Specialist Midwife Öznür Hayat Öktem, Research Assistant Begüm Can, and Research Assistant Kübra Nur Kılıç.
The applications were planned in stations to develop students' professional skills; in this context, normal delivery, episiotomy, episiotomy repair, newborn initial care, and cord clamping applications were performed. In addition, fetal development and delivery room environment were experienced within the scope of virtual reality applications. The event aimed to reinforce students' theoretical knowledge through practice and strengthen their clinical skills.
