Occupational Health and Safety Training Conducted for Clinical, Field, and Laboratory Applications
The “Occupational Health and Safety Training in Clinical, Field, and Laboratory Practices” for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th-year students in the Midwifery Department of the Faculty of Health Sciences at Karabük University was held on October 1, 2026, at the July 15 Martyrs Conference Hall in collaboration with the Education Unit of Karabük University Education and Research Hospital.
In the first part of the training, students were briefed on hospital rules regarding clinical practice processes, basic rules to be followed during clinical practice, and hospital operations. Subsequently, Occupational Health and Safety Training was conducted to enhance students’ knowledge and awareness of occupational health and safety in clinical, field, and laboratory practices.
 
The training concluded with the goal of equipping students with knowledge of safe work practices in their practice settings and preparing them for their clinical rotations.
