EXAM RULES
Students must be present in the examination hall at the time indicated in the announced exam schedule. Whether students arriving after the scheduled start time are allowed to take the exam will be determined by the instructor in charge.

Throughout the exam, students are required to follow the invigilator’s instructions and warnings regarding exam conduct. Disciplinary action will be taken against any student who acts otherwise.

The exam officially begins once the exam papers are distributed and the invigilator announces the start. Using any unauthorized material (class notes, books, computers, tablets, calculators, etc.), possessing any writing or formulas on approved materials (e.g., tables, calculators, computers), looking at another student’s paper, showing one’s paper to another student, exchanging information (verbally or in writing), or sharing items (pens, erasers, etc.) are all considered cheating.

If a student is caught cheating, they must immediately hand in their exam paper to the invigilator. A report describing the cheating act, signed by the invigilators, is prepared. Any materials serving as evidence of cheating are attached to the report, or, if confiscation is not possible, photographic evidence is included. If the student refuses to surrender the evidence or prevents photographic documentation, this will also be recorded in the report.

Students cannot leave the examination hall without signing the attendance sheet and submitting their exam papers. Once a student submits their paper and leaves the hall, they may not re-enter before the exam ends. Reports will be filed for students who do not comply with these rules.

Students must sign the attendance sheet using a ballpoint pen.

Students who take the exam on behalf of another person, or allow someone else to take the exam in their place, will be subject to disciplinary action in accordance with the Higher Education Institutions Student Disciplinary Regulation.

Students are required to have their student ID card or another valid identification document during exams. Students without ID will only be admitted if recognized personally by the exam supervisor.

Students are not allowed to bring mobile phones into the examination hall. If a student enters an exam with a mobile phone in any manner, an official report will be filed, and the student will receive a grade of zero (0) for that exam. Furthermore, disciplinary proceedings will be initiated in accordance with the Higher Education Institutions Student Disciplinary Regulation published in the Official Gazette dated August 18, 2012, No. 28388.

No unrelated materials may be kept on desks during the exam.

In any type of exam, application, laboratory, workshop, assignment, midterm project, or similar activity, any student caught cheating, attempting to cheat, assisting in cheating, or found to have cheated upon review of materials will receive a grade of zero (0) for that exam or work, and disciplinary procedures will apply.

For exams conducted under the coordination of the Examination Center (AIT, YDL, TUR, and pedagogical formation courses), the rules stated in the Karabük University Examination Center Coordination Directive apply.

MIDTERM SCHEDULE
Dear Students,
The midterm schedule is provided below.
Child Development Department students will take the exams of their pedagogical formation courses in the classrooms of our faculty on the dates and times specified in the schedule.
