Child, Death and Grief Workshop
Child, Death and Grief Workshop: A series of events focusing on death and grief were held on December 24-25, 2025, moderated by Prof. Dr. Adem Sağır, a faculty member of the Sociology Department at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. Prof. Dr. Arzu Özyürek, a faculty member of the Child Development Department, conducted a workshop titled "Child, Death and Grief" with a group of 30 people. The workshop addressed the effects of death on children of different ages and coping mechanisms using an active, participatory approach. Prof. Dr. Gülümser Gültekin Akduman and Dr. Şenay Şener also participated in the workshop, which included participants from outside the university.
