Within the scope of the HEM-225 Internal Medicine Nursing course, a conference titled “Multidisciplinary Approach in Obesity Treatment” was held on October 23, 2025, at BTMYO Classroom 108.
The conference was moderated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Duygu Kes and Student Nurse Emre Güneş.
The organizing committee, consisting of Mehmet Fatih Eldemir, Muhammed Eren Erol, İbrahim Çelik, Gizem Çoban, Emine Kalay, Hatice Nur Demirtaş, Oktay Küçükçay, Efecan Kunduz, Noora Mohammad Mugım, Yeter Gül, Hasan Güneş, Berke Muhammed Yaşar, Furkan Arslan, Lana Mutair, and Nurto Hussein Mohamud, contributed to the successful organization of the event.
During the conference, Op. Dr. Fatih Erol, Dietitian Şura Göktaş, Physiotherapist Mehmet Fatih Eldemir, and Nurse Semra Gündoğdu shared valuable insights on the importance of a multidisciplinary approach in obesity treatment and discussed key considerations in the management of the disease.
