As part of the HEM225 Internal Medicine Nursing course, a conference titled “Beyond a Step into the Future: Nursing & Wound Care in Australia – The Invisible Power of Intensive Care” was held on November 27, 2025, in BTMYO Classroom 108.
The conference was moderated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Duygu Kes and Nursing Student Sudenur Özçelebi. The organizing committee—Ebrar Çambaşı, Şevval Merve Devecioğlu, İkbal Mısırlı, Seher Beray Müezzinoğlu, Amine Ravza Demir, Çağla Rümeysa Sığırcı, Rümeysa Tuncel, Nisa Nur Çakan, Yasemin Yılmaz, Sevgül Oktar, Rana Özcan, Yasemin Özatar, Şeyma Gül Ulaş, Hatice Güneyli, Sara Abdullah—contributed to the successful realization of the event.
During the conference, Nurse Hüseyin Alkaş delivered insights on international nursing practice, Nurse Adem Tuncel shared information on intensive care nursing, and Supervisor Nurse Aysun Ulusoy presented key points regarding wound care nursing.
