On April 13, 2026, a specialized session was held as part of the HEM244 Career Opportunities in Nursing course, organized and moderated by Asst. Prof. Ayşegül OKSAY ŞAHİN. The event featured esteemed guests from the Karabük University Career Application and Research Center, who provided our students with vital information regarding professional development and institutional representation. During the session, Res. Asst. Yasin KAÇAR, Deputy Coordinator of the Center, introduced the newly established "Student Senate." He detailed the senate’s operational framework, recently approved by the Karabük University Senate, and extended a formal invitation to our students to participate in this governance model. Furthermore, Nihat CEYLAN, an official from the Center, delivered a comprehensive presentation on the center’s primary functions and national career platforms. Students were briefed on: The Talent Gate and National Internship Program, Yetenek TV and the Career Gate Active projects and upcoming career events organized by the University. Our guests shared strategic career planning advice with our prospective nurses and encouraged them to actively utilize the Center’s resources. The session, which was met with great interest, concluded with an interactive Q&A period where students had the opportunity to clarify their career-related inquiries.
